About this service
Fieo Registration is a key regulatory filing administered by Ministry of Commerce & Industry (Department of Commerce). FIEO is recognised as the apex EPC for **multi-product exporters** and for those exporters whose product does not fall under any specific product EPC (APEDA, MPEDA, Spices Board, Tea Board, Coffee Board, CHEMEXCIL, CHEMPCIL, EEPC, etc.).. Filing is executed via Application Form for RCMC under **ANF 2C** of Handbook of Procedures of FTP 2023-28. RCMC format prescribed under **Appendix 2E**. FIEO membership application form (Proprietor / Partnership / Company / LLP / HUF / Trust) is filed online on the FIEO portal. under Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) is **not a statutory authority** β it is a society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, set up in 1965 jointly by the Ministry of Commerce and private trade bodies. Its recognition as an Export Promotion Council for RCMC issuance flows from **Paragraph 2.55 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2023-28** read with **ANF 2C** of the Handbook of Procedures and the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 β **Section 3** (export/import policy), **Section 5** (issue of directions). Common mistakes to avoid
Avoidable filing errors that cause delays or rejection. Each can be resolved before submission.
- 1Mismatched applicant legal name or identity details across KYC proofsWhy: Government verification APIs cross-check with UIDAI and MCA databases and automatically flag discrepancies in spelling or dates.Fix: Our specialists pre-validate your documents against official government databases before portal filing.
- 2Submitting outdated utility bills or non-notarized commercial leasesWhy: Premises proofs older than 60 days or defective landlord NOCs trigger statutory scrutiny queries and multi-week processing delays.Fix: We verify recent billing dates and provide pre-formatted, legally vetted landlord NOC and lease formats.
- 3Selecting incorrect classification, turnover slab, or statutory activity codeWhy: Applications filed under inappropriate classifications attract show-cause notices and potential rejection without statutory fee refund.Fix: We conduct a statutory scope assessment to align your application with the exact regulatory requirements.
