Nabl Accreditation is a key regulatory filing administered by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), Quality Council of India, under DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry. NABL is a signatory to the **ILAC MRA** (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation β Mutual Recognition Arrangement) and **APAC MRA** (Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation). Head office: New Delhi.. Filing is executed via NABL Application Forms β Form 100 series (separate forms for Testing, Calibration, Medical, PTC, Inspection). Online application launched on NABL QMS portal. Forms: under NABL is a constituent board of the **Quality Council of India (QCI)**, set up in 1998 by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and industry (CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM) under the Societies Registration Act 1860. QCI is governed by the **Cabinet Resolution dated 6 September 1996** (constituting QCI as the national accreditation body). NABL operates in accordance with **ISO/IEC 17011:2017** (general requirements for accreditation bodies accrediting conformity assessment bodies). NABL's accreditation programmes are operated under the relevant ISO/IEC international standards..
